Protecting the interests of the employee

In any work related accident there is almost always bound to be an employee who will be injured. Any worker who has to go to the hospital and has to undergo expensive medical treatment will most certainly find their savings disappearing. There is also the fact that any worker with an injury will not be able to work and will not be able to earn any wages. To counteract this possibility and to help protect the interests of the employee workers compensation laws are being enforced. This means that any worker injured in an accident at work will have financial compensation to cover medical expenses and salary that is unearned while they are injured.
