Learn about Gastrcnemius

By admin | February 3, 2012

Measure the width of your gastrocnemius. Assume that it is 1inch thick. Look at a picture of the muscle to see the slant of the fibers. Estimate the physiologic cross section of your muscle and  calculate the amount of force it should be able to exert. On each of the diagrams in Figures 54 and 55_draw a line  to represent the mechanical axis of the bone.  In the diagram of the biceps muscle in Figure 56, find the size of the angle of pull. The skin is cleansed; air expelled from the syringe. Penetration of the skin is made with the needle almost parallel to the vein, bevel downwards; while doing so the vein is steadied in position by stretching the skin that lies over it with the thumb of the left hand which is grasping the patients arm below the elbow. The needle is advanced alongside the vein for about (3 mm) 1/8th inch before being inclined sufficiently to be introduced into it. This minimises the risk of penetrating both walls of the vein. A sligh  sensation of ‘give’ is detected as the vein is entered. ICD10 Training. will help you to do collections and also the pending amounts from the patients.
